We are seeking a Paediatrician to provide clinical expertise in the Department of Paediatrics at this regional SA hospital. This will include oversight and management of children in the Emergency Department, inpatients, neonatal nursery and outpatients, and community consultations. You will oversee the Child Development Unit and mandated child protection responsibilities. As part of your role, you will supervise the clinical practice of General Practice paediatricians and junior medical staff, as well as undertaking active engagement in the education of all health staff affiliated with the service.

The hospital has approximately 96 public beds and is co-located with a 20 bed private hospital. It provides extensive services including general medicine, general, orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmic, and gynaecological surgery, and obstetrics in addition to an emergency department and a high dependency unit.
