The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager (Administration) to join the management team within the Stegbar Victorian business.

The Operations Manager will have full responsibility for two core internal teams: that being the Administration and Logistics teams. With 8 direct and 50+ indirect reports, this role requires strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate your staff to consistently meet and exceed expectations whilst providing a fun and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Overall performance of the Administration and Logistics teams
  • Manage P&L for the individual departments
  • Providing guidance and education to other staff in all aspects
  • Continue to drive cultural change and business initiatives
  • Driving continuous improvement within the team
  • Monitoring and developing employee performance
  • Strengthen customer loyalty by providing high-quality experiences and solutions to problems

About You

  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams
  • A proven leader within change management
  • Sound capability to use MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A practical hands-on approach to management with strong business acumen
  • Experience within the Building industry (highly advantageous)
  • A willingness to “get your hands dirty”
  • People skills with the ability to coach and mentor direct reports to grow their skills
