St Vincent's Care Services (SVCS) have a rewarding opportunity for a Cook to join our team at Heathcote. If you are a friendly, hard working Cook who is dedicated to providing a high standard of meals for our wonderful consumers, this might be your next role!

Your Role

• Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals;
• Setting tables, cleaning dishes and performing all cleaning duties in a timely and efficient manner;
• Flexibility to manage special dietary requirements;
• Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards;
• Maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff.
  

You Will Have

• Trade qualification in Commercial cooking (preferred);
• Previous experience in an aged care facility or similar;
• An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
• An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• National police check and flu vaccination (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
