    GHD Advisory’s Perth Risk, Assurance and Regulation group is excited to announce the opportunity to join their Risk Management team as an Executive Advisor to play an integral role in the energy and resources, water, environment, property and buildings and transportation industries. This a leadership role and we are seeking a committed professional, who is passionate about Risk Management, and will generate strong client relationships, connect clients with the best of GHD capability and play an integral role in the development of our people through the involvement in an extensive number of projects.

    About Your New Role

    Our leading Risk Management team, operates virtually both nationally and internationally, is recognised for their high quality of work and diverse capabilities. The Risk Management team sits within GHD Advisory and addresses our clients’ needs across markets, from strategic engagements to the operational phase and throughout the project life cycle.

    Aspects Of The Role Include Work In Following Areas
    • Advising clients in multiple aspects of risk management
    • Facilitation of Risk and Safety related workshops using a variety of techniques (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, bowties, FMECA, SMS)
    • Development of Major Hazard Facility Safety Cases
    • Provision of Technical Process Safety services
    • Safety in Design Assessments & Evaluations
    • Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety (RAMS) Assessments
    • Project risk assessment and monte carlo and bowtie analysis
    • Human Factors Analysis
    • Development of project & safety risk management plans
    • Risk, Assurance & Regulations third party auditing and compliance
    • Create control framework design and governance to transformations solutions in Risk and HSE
    • Technical contribution to knowledge base of the risk practice
    To Achieve These Objectives Applicants Will Be Assessed With Respect To The Following Criteria

We see a significant opportunity to grow this capability through this role as an Executive Advisor, joining a team whom is recognised as market leaders in the area of risk management.
    • 15+ years industry experience in energy and resources, water, environment, property and buildings and/or transportation industries
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications: Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical engineering or other equivalent
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English
    • Established Client relationship interactions and job management skills
    • Ability to prepare competitive bids and proposals
    • A working knowledge & practicable applications of Statuary Regulations, Australian & International Standards and relevant Codes of Practice
    • Provide expertise to projects and clients as required
    • Ability to lead an established team, foster the development of that team and identify opportunities for further growth
    • Previous experience in a consultancy environment is expected is desirable
