Your mission

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Compliance Officer to join our client and help implement ther Quality and Compliance objectives.

A mix between work from home and campus presence in Brisbane and Gold Coast will be accepted.

You will report to the EGM and be responsible for all compliance requirements for either their domestic Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and our CRICOS RTO.

Through their RTO & CRICOS Colleges they deliver mainly accredited training in health, hospitality, commercial cookery, IT and business qualifications.

About the role:

As the Compliance Officer, you will:

  • Be responsible for all compliance activities relating to the RTO, including continued compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015
  • Be responsible for all ASQA reporting requirements including CRICOS, AVETMISS and Quality Indicator
  • Assist in addition to scope applications including developing, reviewing and implementing:
  • Training & Assessment Strategies
  • Learner Guides
  • Assessment Tools
  • Session Plans
  • Lead the planning and conducting of;
  • Internal audits
  • Course reviews
  • Validation
  • Maintain our trainer qualification, professional development and industry currency register
  • Assist with RTO marketing compliance
  • Maintain all areas across the standards

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a compliance or quality assurance role in an RTO / CRICOS environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015
  • Experience in using an RTO student management systems desirable
  • Experience using PRISMS desired but not essential
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Health, IT, Hospitality, Business or other related industry experience desired but not essential
  • Experience delivering training & assessment is desirable but not essential


  • TAE40116 Cert IV in TAE or higher
  • A current drivers licence (Car)
  • A current working with children check
