Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.

The Personal Lending team is responsible for managing the end to end P&L management, acquisition & portfolio management, channel strategy and customer experience for Personal Loans and Overdrafts.

More specifically, the Acquisition & Conversion Team are responsible for defining and enabling our acquisition and growth strategy by deploying sales tools, leads, campaigns and supporting our distribution partners (eg. Branches, Direct Bank, Direct Lending & Digital channels) to meet more customer needs through personal lending products.

Your Impact and contribution

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Acquisition Strategy and Channel Optimisation you will be accountable for driving world class data analytics to drive solutions and decision making. You will ensure profitable growth of the Personal Loans business through testing and optimising processes across Digital and Direct Channels.

Key to the role is a strong focus on digital initiatives and experimentations such as assisted chat and web messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification of acquisition or channel optimisation opportunities across secured car loans, personal loan and overdraft products
  • Execution of these initiatives (e.g. provide product support for relevant SWRs and projects, work with value chain on other change management including frontline briefings and communications, facilitate internal sign offs.
  • Effective management of associated operational risk including
  • Development and execution of relevant controls
  • Closure of issues, incidents, RIOs and action items and;
  • Assistance with relevant regulatory requests
  • Adhere to the code of conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

Your Skills And Previous Experience
  • Experience in developing insights and make recommendation from data and analysis
  • Advanced analytical, numerate and logical reasoning skills
  • Ability to articulate complex analytical requirements and findings in common non-technical terms
  • Advanced communication and engagement skill
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
