Customer Service Officer

We are seeking a Customer Service Officer who will be is responsible for all of our customer orders. Orders will be made via our Sales Consultants, email or by telephone. You will contact customers to notify them as to which lines are not available for supply and offer substitutes or alternatives. You will be responsible for advising them of any new products on the market and or specials available.

What you’ll do

  • Answer all incoming calls with a clear and pleasant phone manner
  • Ensure Customer Orders are processed within a reasonable period of time
  • Answer all customer enquiries or direct them to the correct department
  • Action process for requests for credit
  • Forward Buy-Ins to the appropriate person
  • Inform the purchasing department of any unusually high volume sales
  • Answerable to the Sales Supervisor for the day to day functionality of the team, as well as to the specific requests by the Sales Manager
  • Be highly aware of HACCP, Food Safety, O.H&S and Equal Opportunity Employment Policies
