At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners (DPs) – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, partners act as their own boss. They can build their own schedule and choose from different types of opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while making great earnings. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced systems, allowing partners to sign in, grab an offer for a time, check out a map of the location, and more.
As Program Specialist Acquisition and Onboarding, you will work on projects to drive the acquisition of delivery partners for our vans program and implement initiatives to improve the scalability of our delivery partner onboarding process, in particular the Bluecard training program, a compulsory training accreditation for delivery partners in NSW. You will implement initiatives that improve the accuracy of our reporting funnel and continuously look for opportunities to scale through automation. You will drive the execution of Amazon Flex marketing channels to support the launch of the Amazon Flex vans program, working with online and offline media to ensure we acquire enough van delivery partners to support volumes in Australia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for delivery partner acquisition for Amazon Flex vans, including managing acquisition funnels and developing marketing acquisition materials.
- Own and be accountable for the weekly reporting of our onboarding funnel for Amazon Flex delivery partners.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards of several business metrics.
- Be willing to “get your hands dirty” in a start-up environment whilst driving processes to ensure scalability.
- Review quantitative and qualitative delivery partner feedback to identify themes as issues not readily identifiable through operational metrics.
- Earn trust from internal and external partners, manage multiple projects, and balance contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment


Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience.
- Proficiency with HTML plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly.
- High proficiency with Excel functions of pivot tables, graphs and vlookup.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ‘gig economy’.
- Ability to identify better ways of working at scale through building new mechanisms and processes.
- SQL experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
