Do you have a passion for Advertising, Marketing and the related industry technologies? Are you interested in executing on the Go-to-Market strategies as a key representative of the voice of the advertising and marketing vertical customers for an industry leader in cloud computing? Do you have the industry background, technical depth, and communication skills needed to help further establish AWS as the leader in the vertical? Companies in advertising and marketing are under pressure to reduce infrastructure costs and improve business agility while processing petabytes of data each day and delivering marketing messages at ultra-low latency millions of times per second. AWS is looking for a senior level, industry specialist who understands business trends impacting the vertical and is passionate and capable of driving market and customer development in APJ. Leveraging the richness of the AWS cloud computing platform, this person will be called upon to position and drive the right technology solutions, enable the ecosystem, and address changing customer needs.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with key industry customers, engaging strategic industry partners, attending and speaking at industry events, leading the process to enable industry solutions, and create significant new business opportunities for AWS. You will work closely with key customers and leaders across AWS, developing strategies that will enable the AWS sales teams selling to industry accounts to drive their day-to-day interactions with key prospects. You will work closely with AWS solutions architects and partner teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the vertical. You will also work closely with the AWS product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption by advertising and marketing industry customers.

The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience working with advertising and marketing industry customers across segments such as advertising technology, marketing technology, measurement platforms agencies and media companies. He/she will possess a product development or technical background that enables them to drive business engagements and credibly work with technical leaders, software architects and developers about the advantages of cloud infrastructure for complex industry use cases such as real-time bidding, ad serving, identity analysis and data processing. They should have a demonstrated ability to think analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership and drive is a must. Being scrappy is highly valued.

· Broad reaching relationships and large network in the vertical.
· Strong leadership skills are key, with proven verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· Experience working with new product/service development teams and their outbound function
· Experienced and confident working with Sr. Stakeholders and Executive teams
· Track record of working with senior partner and customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue accounts.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of business development, sales, or program/product management
- Must have experience in the advertising and/or marketing industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Deep expertise in advertising and marketing technology is required
· Broad reaching relationships and large network in the vertical.
· Strong leadership skills are key, with proven verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
