Zero Harm is embedded in Downer's culture and is fundamental to the company's future success. We are seeking an experienced Head of Zero Harm Risk and Systems to join our industry-leading team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving the management of Zero Harm risk, including critical risk, within the Spotless Business.

This role will also assist in delivering the strategic direction and outcomes of the Zero Harm Critical Risk Program within Spotless and identifying improvements and learning initiatives. 

ABOUT YOU

You will possess a Bachelor or higher qualification in Risk Management, Health & Safety, or a related discipline together with;

• Substantial experience gained within a high-risk industry or facilities maintenance. 
• Thorough understanding of Zero Harm risk management principles and frameworks
• Highly developed work organisation and project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement and monitor Zero Harm policies and procedures and programs
• Experience in the implementation of a Critical Risk framework/program
• Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to prepare reports using clear, concise language to identify emerging trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with personal abilities to influence stakeholders across the Spotless business and work collaboratively at various business levels
• Demonstrated ability to develop Zero Harm improvement plans to drive and promote proactive safety awareness programs
• Lead ICAM Investigator qualifications highly regarded together with QSA auditor certificate and/or data analytics qualifications would be highly advantageous
