Downer VIC Pipelines team are seeking to build an additional crew to meet the increased volume of work for our Yarra Valley Water contract. To help facilitate the new crew, we require an experienced Foreman to manage the crew. This permanent full time position will be based in Bayswater, Melbourne and report to the Operations Supervisor.

Works are generally Monday to Friday with the occasional night or weekend shift, you will be delivering multiple water main renewal projects in to meet the expectations and standards of both Yarra Valley Water and Downer.

• Demonstrated leadership skills on site
• Plan and supervise projects from start to finish
• Effectively communicate and interact with client representatives and all other stake holders
• Participate in internal and external Audits
• Participate in incident investigations and implement related corrective actions
• Hold current competency in at least one of the following areas – Electrofusion welding, Plastek, Trenching & Shoring, Spotter, Dogman, Excavator, Backhoe, Flexibore, Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence etc
• Hold current competency in at least two of the following areas - Electrofusion welding, PE Butt welding, Plastek, Trenching & Shoring, Spotter, Dogman, 20 ton excavator, backhoe, Flexibore, Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence, Heavy Combination (HC) Licence
