At the Haynes Group we have had significant success in forming preferred supplier arrangements. Our client is seeking to employ experienced "CNC Machinist" to work for our client in their Mackay workshop.

Opportunity:

We currently have a full-time permanent position available for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our clients hydraulic machining team in their Mackay workshop. The successful applicant will work Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week with some OT opportunities.

Our client specialises in hydraulic cylinder refurbishment and manufacture for clients across Queensland as well as internationally. With clean, modern workshops, and a high focus on efficient production, positions within this growing organisation are extremely sought after.

The Role:

The primary focus of this role is to machine, repair, reclaim, and manufacture various components, including large hydraulic cylinders and various other items relating to heavy mining and earthmoving equipment.

Requirements:

• Trade Qualified Fitter Machinist with at least 5 years' post trade experience
• Extensive experience in operating large CNC lathes, large CNC horizontal borers and CNC Gantry mills as well as manual machines
• Experience with Fanuc and Fagor controllers - highly regarded
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Be able to resolve process issues as they arise
• Well-developed communication skills
• Great time management skills
• The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
• Be able to maintain a high level of contamination control and workplace health and safety
