Full Job Description

We are a small suburban Taxation and Accounting practice providing additional Financial Planning and Mortgage Broking services to a variety of Clients. Our office is located approximately 10 kilometres North of the Perth CBD.

We are seeking an excellent communicator to join our close-knit team. We require a youthful (attitude), alert and articulate individual with truly excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, to act in the capacity of our friendly, engaging administrator. It is a requirement that the successful applicant be naturally organised and open to constructive training.

The successful applicant is required on a full-time basis (with a work day of 8:55am to 5.00pm - with a 35 min. lunch break). It would be preferred if you have had some degree of experience within the Accounting and/or Financial industries, but we are willing to overlook this for the right personality.

Effectively, the successful applicant would be responsible for the non-professional aspects of the business.

In addition to the non-professional aspects, the successful applicant will take over the “debtor management” facet of the business. This includes all factors relating to billing, repayment arrangements and all inquiries that arise from these.

The successful applicant may be given offers of advancement to take on other roles depending upon to the aptitude and attitude of the successful applicant.

Parking is excellent and abundant.

Remuneration will be as per the appropriate award rate. However, ultimately the pay will be dependent upon the successful applicant’s ability to “add value” and integrate into the team by demonstrating personal efficiencies; undertaking semi-professional tasks under direction; willingness to go above and beyond for the other staff and clients; and finally, the capacity of the successful applicant to demonstrate growth of a personal and professional nature within their role and defined responsibilities for the business as a whole.
