Zero Harm is embedded in Downer's culture and is fundamental to the company's future success. We are seeking an experienced Head of Zero Harm Risk and Systems to join our industry-leading team. This pivotal role will be responsible for ensuring the consistent application, monitoring and development of all relevant ZH related risk management procedures and programs within the Spotless Business.

This role will also assist in delivering the strategic direction and outcomes of the Zero Harm Critical Risk Program within Spotless whilst identifying improvements and learning initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

You will possess a Bachelor or higher qualification in Risk Management, Health & Safety, Engineer of a related discipline together with;

Substantial experience gained within a high-risk industry or facilities maintenance. Lead ICAM Investigator qualifications highly regarded together with QSA auditor certificate and/or data analytics qualifications would be highly advantageous

Thorough understanding of risk management principles and frameworks

Highly developed work organisation and project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities

Demonstrated knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement Zero Harm policies and procedures and ensure compliance

Experience in the implementation of a Critical Risk framework/program

Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to prepare reports using clear, concise language to identify emerging trends

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence and work collaboratively at various business levels

Demonstrated ability to develop Zero Harm improvement plans to drive and promote proactive safety awareness programs
