Full Job Description
Our client is a leading oil and gas company operating within the Asia pacific region. Wood Recruitment has partnered with them to recruit a part time Document Controller for 3 days per week (flexible hours) to assist their drilling team for an initial 6 month period.

As a Document Controller you will ensure the quality of the companies-controlled documents is managed and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What you’ll be doing:
Ensure that controlled documents prepared for submission are issued in a timely manner, appropriate approval/rejection are obtained and formally recorded, and that changes and revisions are managed as part of document control process
Monitor and update any change and modification to the technical documents.
Support to the project teams for the preparation of presentation materials if necessary
Keep track of all documents correspondences and transaction. Maintain and update all document registers
Provide guidance to the broad team, particularly as it relates to the format standardization of external documents into the provided template.
Expedite delivery of information from project personnel, contractors and suppliers
Handling of confidential documentation with appropriate care.
Quality check documents to project/company standards.
Maintain accurate & timely records (systems, databases, spreadsheets).

What you’ll need:
Must have sound knowledge and experience in Microsoft SharePoint
Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role.
Good understanding of standard document management processes
Good understanding of engineering change management processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (checking and formatting of documents)
Can work and act as part of a team with good communication skills
Well organised, attention to detail, flexible and professional
Flexible, helpful and proactive work ethic
Level of numerical proficiency
