An opportunity is now here for an Accounts Payable Officer who thrives working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. This role involves working closely with the national finance team and building strong relationships with legal practitioners and support staff of the business.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare payment runs for both invoices and expense payments. Upload payments files to the bank for authorisation and payment
  • Review and identification of items that should be capitalised, prepaid and/or accrued, as necessary
  • Bulk creditor uploads, review and payment
  • Processing, coding and upload of firm travel expenses
  • Ongoing review of aged firm creditor listing and action accordingly. Follow up unpresented cheques and other outstanding reconciliation items
  • Review and reconcile unallocated credits on a monthly basis
  • Journal Entries as required
  • Provide knowledge and support to administrative staff on Concur in relation to firm Invoices and Expenses

ABOUT YOU

You will have 2+ years' experience working in a fast paced working environment ideally within a law firm or professional services environment, with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong excel skills and be someone who approaches your work with enthusiasm and pride.
Previous experience with Elite, SAP and/or Concur would be highly regarded.
