As a Paralegal you will work alongside our Australian legal team, providing key support and assistance by ensuring timely and accurate coordination and administration of various activities impacting the division.

Working in this dynamic role, you will be a driven, initiative focused individual with strong attention to detail, enthusiasm to succeed and the ability to manage your time effectively.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate and contribute to the Australian legal team by actively participating in team meetings, assist on projects where possible and supporting with the team administration.
  • Ensure strong team-wide communication for the Australian legal team, and liaising with the global legal team whilst taking into consideration the various time-zones and working locations (offices, clinics and remote workers)
  • Document management including reviewing and drafting contracts, policies and other documents maintained by the Australian legal team.
  • Liaison and relationship building with various internal and external key stakeholders, including external law firms and managing invoice processing and WIP updates

Who you are:

  • Law degree in a common law jurisdiction- preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in a paralegal role either in private practice or a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters and material
  • Advanced Microsoft Office capability – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to write, collate and present reports and documents
  • Strong sense of initiative, flexibility and prioritisation to be able to multi-task multiple requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
