About Us

SDN Children's Services is a not for profit organisation that has been delivering quality early childhood education and child care, children's therapies and family support services since 1905.

We are one of Australia's most respected children's services organisations, and have over 600 staff across 30 sites in Sydney, regional NSW and the ACT. We also have therapists who support children with autism or a developmental delay, and can help overcome the challenges that can make everyday life and participation tough for children.

About the Team

SDN's Children's Education and Care Centres are dedicated to providing high-quality and inclusive education and care services to enhance the wellbeing of children, their families and communities. All children in the centres benefit from creative, child-focused curriculum developed by our early childhood educators and teachers.

About the Role

To lead change and build consistency within our team of Centre Administrators across 27 centres, ensuring SDN's centre administration processes meet customer expectations and our legal and regulatory obligations.

This is a full time position based at our Penrith office.

About Us

  • Previous high level administrative (or other) experience in an early childhood setting
  • Experience using CCS software and a sound understanding of childcare rebates and processes
  • Demonstrated administration, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Demonstrated numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-developed computer skills, and accounting/finance system knowledge
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective relationship building and interpersonal skills with a customer orientated focus
  • Experience leading a team
  • Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
