About the Position: 

3Bridges Community is currently recruiting for a full-time Allied Health Assistant to ensure Smooth and efficient delivery of therapy plans to Allied Health clients, as recommended by Allied Health professionals. Supporting the Allied Health Team this role will require a high standard of customer service and service delivery to clients and their families and will involve Complete administrative tasks and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Essential experience or skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification i.e., Certificate III or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as an Allied Health Assistant.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities and their families.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skill, which includes a demonstrated ability to complete sensitive and responsive interactions with colleagues and clients.
  • Demonstrated time management skills that include the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks and judge priorities appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with skills in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, internet, and literature search engines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to own professional development and learning, evidenced by identification of learning/education goals and objectives.
  • Current NSW Health Vaccination Status – Category A


  • Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant alongside Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated positive interactions working or participating in a team.
  • Developing clinical reasoning skills with a creative and dynamic approach to problem solving.

 The successful candidate will require National Police Clearance prior to appointment (completed by 3Bridges)
