JOB DESCRIPTION
The role:
Ensure all Claims supplier contracts are compliant and reflect requirements of new General Insurance Code of Practice (GICoP), Claims Handling as a Financial Service (CHaaFS) and other regulatory initiatives
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Delivery to project plan for contract remediation aligned to Group Regulatory program
- Coordinate legal & business-owned contract schedules to ensure accuracy across Claims categories
- Negotiate contract amendments with suppliers in conjunction with business stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting to project team and Claims Procurement team as to progress and highlight any delivery risks
- Contracts executed correctly with respect to RoA and DoA
- Contract repository update & accuracy
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary Qualified / Preferably undergraduate degree in Law, Commerce, with Procurement disciplines
- 5 + years Procurement and / or Legal experience across multiple industry sectors.
- 2 + years demonstrated management experience.
- Exposure to large, complex organisations mandatory
- Complex project leadership experience
