About The Role
As a Desktop and Service Support Officer at VGW, you'll provide exceptional first and second line IT support to our Perth team. You'll be part of the IT Services Team (aka Team Unicorn), who go above and beyond to provide best in class IT support. This position will be a 6 month FTC.
On a day to day basis, you'll be:
Providing L1 & L2 desktop & IT service support to our Perth team
Providing remote support to VGW's global team
Setting up, configuring and managing end-user devices using our MDM platform
Troubleshooting software and hardware issues
Provisioning systems access for new and existing users in line with our IAM policy and procedures
Performing IT inductions for new starters
Providing general IT advice and guidance
Tagging, tracking and auditing VGW IT Assets
About You
We need you to have the following attributes:
At least a couple of years experience in desktop support
Exceptional interpersonal skills. You'll be the kind of person that is approachable and happy to help and can liaise with users at all levels within the organisation (including C levels)
Knowledge of Mac OS and Windows operating systems and experience in supporting both
Be comfortable in a "cloud-first" environment. We hate managing infrastructure!
Experience in supporting Google Workspace Enterprise (GSuite)
Experience with the following products would be a bonus - VMWare Workspace ONE (AirWatch), Sentinel One, Okta
Proactivity. We'd love you to bring new ideas to the company and be able to act without being told what to do
Solid time management skills are essential, as is the ability to work remotely and be productive without close supervision.
