Seeking an experienced APS6 level Operations Program Officer for our Federal Government client

Reference Number: 360034
Citizenship requirements: Australian citizens with the ability to obtain baseline
Location: Canberra
Duration: 12 months

Our client requires the services of a APS6 level Operations Program Officer to be responsible for performing project and program activities and providing project support to the branch as directed.

You Will Have Experience In The Following Areas

  • Proven effective and confident decision making using good judgment, expertise and knowledge, under limited guidance.
  • Ability to provide accurate and specialised advice including anticipating problems, negotiating and implementing change and contributing to issues management.
  • Ability to perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of reports on relevant activities, design or milestones, and to identify broader factors, trends and influences that may impact on the teams work or objectives.
  • Capacity to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the Agency and an understanding of how these relate to the work areas.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across the technology and the business teams, and to a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate multiple complex projects with third party and vendor dependencies.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering programs of work with demonstrated ability to co-ordinate multiple complex projects with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in Information Technology, primarily in management frameworks, systems development and maintenance
  • Previous experience working within customer experience or website enhancements, and a desire to improve useability would be highly regarded.
  • Specific knowledge or experience with the My Health Record would also be an advantage.
  • Appropriate business, change or IT qualifications or commensurate experience.
