This role will partner with our VP Country Manager of Australia in the end to end management of the business, balancing growth needs across the various portfolio teams to accomplish country level fiscal year outcomes. You’ll work cross-functionally with the senior leaders in the Australian business to develop a multi-year strategic growth framework, assess business gaps against plan, propose mitigation strategies, and execute high priority activities.

You will be responsible for building an enhanced data driven commercial culture with deep operational rigor required to support decision making for Intuit’s most competitive market. This role will see you challenged to think bolder, move faster, and have a big impact.

What you'll bring

  • Strategy and operations experience, including 5+ years leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives. Consulting experience at one of the big firms is required.
    • Previous experience in a software as a service (Saas) company and proven capability to lead organisations through growth stages within the business lifecycle
    • Proven experience ensuring growth and revenue goals are achieved and able to balance both the short and long term strategy
  • Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to both influence and develop strong partnerships at all levels.
  • Strong communicator who knows how to translate analysis into business insights, and communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly.
  • Solutions-oriented, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including business writing and presentations.
  • MBA desirable

How you will lead
  • Partner with sales and marketing and other cross functional teams to drive offering strategy and execution, including vision, strategic initiatives, go-to-market and commercialization strategy, and execution.
  • Set and monitor performance KPIs to measure strategic initiatives performance (retention), product outcomes and business performance.
  • Build operational rigor and operational processes in cross-functional teams to ensure sustainably results delivery over time.
  • Identify core and critical issues to business performance and clearly communicate strategy, progress, and results across organizational boundaries and levels.
  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently, and work well with others when conflicts arise. See opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground, and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.
