Retail / Bar Assistant - Kumarina Roadhouse

At Refuel Australia our people are the greatest contributors to our success. We are currently offering an opportunity at Kumarina Roadhouse. Kumarina is 256km north of Meekatharra, and 164km south of Newman WA.

Kumarina Roadhouse is a genuine roadhouse and offers our customers quality dine-in and takeaway options. There is a bar, a shop and accommodation at Kumarina.

We are seeking a person with great all round experience in a roadhouse environment, or the hospitality and tourism industry. The roadhouse caters for truck drivers and tourists and provides catering services to businesses in the surrounding area.

The successful applicant will mainly be working within the Retail / Bar area but be happy to work as an All Rounder taking on a variety of tasks such as kitchen work, reception, and cleaning.

Duties includes:

- Customer service in the bar and shop

- Assisting in the kitchen and dine-in and takeaway service

- Cleaning within the roadhouse and accommodation

- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications and experience:

- Experience in a similar working environment and role, in a roadhouse environment or hospitality industry preferred

- HACCAP or other safe food handling training / certification

- RSA required

- High level of customer service

- Ability to multi-task

Accommodation and meals are subsidised

Part-time hours: 40 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
