About the role

The Pastoral Care Worker/ School Chaplain is responsible for the implementation of the College Vision and Mission, College policies and the planning, organisation and efficient running of the College, in particular, providing the maximum teaching and learning opportunities for all students, to achieve the curriculum, discipline and student wellbeing goals of the College.

The Pastoral Care Worker/ School Chaplain's major areas of responsibility are to:

  1. Provide Support to Students and Families
  2. Provide pastoral care and guidance to students
  3. Supporting the wellbeing of all students
  4. Supporting diversity
  5. Supportive of the Vision and Mission of Thomas Carr College
  6. Complete adherence to all Child Safety legislation and College requirements
