The position

The role of the Executive Deputy Principal (EDP) is overarching. The EDP deputises for the Principal and ensures that their vision for the strategic direction of the School is implemented. They are a mentor and support to the School Leadership Team. They also provide direction and support to other groups within the school community – academic and general staff, students, and families. The role is strategic, collegial, and operational. The EDP is also responsible for ensuring that the charism of Mary Ward and the Loreto Mission Statement is embedded into all aspects of school life.

About you

Relevant tertiary qualifications, current full teaching registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and a current National Criminal Record Check are essential requirements for this role. We also would prefer that you have current First Aid and CPR certificates, however these are not essential.

The preferred commencement date is Monday 27 September 2021. However, a January 2022 commencement date will be considered. As it is a leadership position, it will be full time, fixed term for five years, and will come with an ongoing teaching position.
