Are you interested in upcoming casual work for a values-based not for profit? We are seeking applications for various roles at Mercy Place Shepparton, including:

  • Personal Care Assistants 
  • Endorsed Enrolled Nurses
  • Registered Nurses
  • Clinical Care Manager
  • Lifestyle Assistants

In these roles the tasks will vary, however you will be involved in supporting the everyday needs of our residents to live healthy, enriching and meaningful lives, promoting resident physical and emotional wellbeing.

Depending on your skills and experience, tasks may include:

  • Assistance with personal care
  • Leisure activities
  • Clinical care
  • Other care duties as required


We are interested to hear from passionate and caring individuals who are currently or expect to be available for ongoing casual work. If you are looking to get back into the workforce, studying, currently looking for a new role or have availability for extra work at a casual capacity, we could have the perfect opportunity for you! To be successful, candidates will also require the following:

Personal Care Assistant: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, ability to operate in a team environment and report/document in line with requirements, demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to follow procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans.

Registered Nurse: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), excellent clinical skills and significant Aged Care experience, leadership qualities, strong working knowledge of legislation and policies pertinent to Aged Care, computer literacy and a high level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), excellent clinical skills and strong working knowledge of legislation and policies pertinent to Aged Care and the workplace.

Lifestyle Assistant: Cert IV in Lifestyle & Leisure or similar, previous experience delivering recreational activities, ability to work within a team environment, and a desire to teach and make a difference within the home.
