Full Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a fixed-term Account Manager in Western Australia, covering a period of Parental Leave for 14 months.

The successful applicant will manage a territory of accounts throughout WA with three main responsibilities: protecting our core business partners; growing our market share, and hunting out and acquiring new business opportunities. With experience in the optical industry and in sales, o ur ideal candidate will also:

  • be confident in analyzing sales data and generating actionable insights, and in the use of a CRM and Microsoft Office suite (such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
  • have demonstrated business acumen and negotiation skills;
  • have amazing communication and presentation skills, in both oral and written form;
  • have strong planning and organizing skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business and customer requirements;
  • hold a current Drivers License, have a vehicle; and
  • be prepared to travel across a designated region with overnight stays to visit customers or conferences as required.

Candidates with formal qualifications in Optical Dispensing, Optometry or other vision-related disciplines will be highly regarded. Prior experience in Account Management, Business Development or Sales Representation is also an advantage.
