We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from Experienced Magazine Keepers/Assistant Shotfirers for Permanent roles with Orica, the global leader in mining and civil blasting at their South West WA facility. This role is residential and will require a daily commute to and from the workplace.

The Role:
This role is viewed as a perfect platform in which to start a long and stable career with a global market leader who will support and provide all the tools, training and support to the right ambitious candidate in which to develop a supply chain leadership career with the company.

Roster: Mon - Fri (5/2)

Location: residential, the ideal candidate will be based in the South West of WA including but limited to Preston Beach, Binningup, Myalup, Yarloop, Waroona, Lake Clifton, Herron or Harvey.

Special Requirements:
The position may require an early start, often 3:30am
WA Shotfirer's licence is preferred
Dangerous Good Security Card is essential
Current valid driver's licence

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Experience working as a Magazine Keeper or Shotfirer Assistant
Current Forklift Licence, HR Licence and Unrestricted A Class Licence
Commitment to operating and working in a safe workplace, and speaking up when you foresee potential risks;
Ability to work unsupervised
Capacity to work in a role that requires labour intensive duties and the capacity to conduct work efficiently and effectively
Ability to pass the physical requirements of the role (medical) and all security clearances
