About the role

This role presents an outstanding opportunity for a Human Resources professional to join a hyper-growth ASX100 company that is rewiring the small business economy. This role incorporates a broad spectrum of HR advisory, coordination and program responsibility, including advice and support to people leads and employees on all people related matters, to ensure we are enabling our people to do the best work of their lives.

What you'll do...

    • Provide meaningful advice and guidance including but not limited to legislative requirements, recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, employee development, remuneration, HR systems, benefits, retention, departures and change management within the Technology and Product Portfolio.
    • Provide support and assistance with Xero’s approach to performance conversations, including running any necessary performance management training.
    • In partnership with the People Experience Business Partner, you’ll provide remuneration advice and guidance, including supporting with the annual salary review.
    • Run regular engagement reports.
    • Facilitate international transfers in conjunction with the relevant People Experience Business Partners and Workday team.
    • Support employees and respond to general HR queries.
    • Contribute to People Experience projects such as the new staff induction programs, staff surveys, remuneration review, policies, and performance review processes.
    • Assist the wider People Experience teams and Coordinators during peak times and on any overflow work as and when required.

What you'll bring...

    • 3+ years HR experience in an Advisor role
    • Experience advising/working with technology /product stakeholders
    • Strong stakeholder management experience
    • Advisory experience preferably in a dynamic fast paced SaaS environment
    • Experience working within and maintaining an HRIS
    • Knowledge of the Employee Lifecycle
    • Ability to work with highly confidential information
    • Capability to work with leaders at different levels of seniority within a business.
