SAS Supplier Group are a product supply company for a wide variety of industries. Established in 2004, servicing primarily the print and signage industries, their product range rapidly expanded and they began servicing the building and cladding, shop fitting and interior design industries, and are now moving into the architectural market place.

SAS Supplier Group has offices in Melbourne (Head Office), Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

About the Position
The position is situated within the Melbourne Head Office.
About the role
As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for taking and processing customer orders, providing support and excellent customer service to SAS customers through enquires via phone, email, our website’s live chat platform, and in person. You will answer enquiries via numerous channels from a variety of customers; ranging from existing customers to those who are new to SAS. You will liaise regularly with the marketing department to gain and expand the necessary product knowledge to assist customers with product support and advise on the products that best suit their requirements.

You will be based in a fast-paced, structured and energetic team environment.

The ideal candidate will be well-spoken with a highly professional approach to communicating with customers via phone, in person, or in written correspondence. You will have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, with the view of finding solutions to problems, and the primary concern of providing the customer with the assistance and support they need to conduct their business with SAS.

Key selection criteria include:
At least 5 years’ experience in a customer service, sales support or similar role.
Experience in the print, signage or building industries will be highly regarded but not essential.
Competent level of skill with Microsoft office applications, in particular Word and Excel is
essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Cold calling experience is essential
A friendly and professional demeanour.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
The ability to attend to multiple calls in quick succession.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to process orders quickly and accurately for dispatch.
