The Opportunity

Across the two agencies, National Drought and North Queensland Flood Response and Recovery Agency (NDNQFRRA) and National Bushfire Recovery Agency (NBRA) , we are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) to fill secondments, non-ongoing and casual vacancies. This will form a register to allow us to fill vacancies across both Agencies. Our online application form will ask you to express an interest in roles from APS Level 4 to Executive Level 2 classifications, as well as select what work areas you have interest and experience in. Positions may be full-time, part-time or casual depending on business needs and requirements. In applying for this temporary register your information may be shared across the three agencies. Your information will be centrally held by PM&C. By applying to this expressions of interest, you also provide PM&C the authority to share your details and interest with the new National Resilience, Relief and Recovery Agency.

Candidates with the following areas of expertise are encouraged to apply:

  • Extensive knowledge of frameworks, government decision making, guidelines and regulations related to Australia's crisis and disaster management.
  • Policy development and/or Program Management experience in any of agriculture, education, environment, health, Indigenous infrastructure, social services, and welfare sectors.
  • Qualifications related to the focus area of the agencies (i.e. Natural Resource Management, Bushfire Planning and Management, Arboriculture, Forest Management or other related disciplines).
  • Experience in the successful delivery of high quality data management, providing advice on network reporting, executive and board dashboard key performance indicators. What we offer
