Hunter Shafiz Lawyers is looking for a highly organized, highly motivated and experienced individual to carry out legal secretarial duties, to cover maternity leave. The successful applicant will work closely with the Principal Solicitor and lawyers.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Front desk reception - answering of incoming calls, taking detailed and accurate phone messages, arranging appointments, greeting and assisting clients attending our office;
  • Administration duties - typing of correspondence, filing, scanning, photocopying, attending to incoming and outgoing mail, creating and managing files and database;
  • Diary management;
  • Legal duties - Filling in legal forms, drafting and amending correspondence; handling confidential information with professionalism;
  • Maintaining and organizing the reception and office
  • Personal Assistant - must be willing to run personal errands for supervisor

Skills & Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a highly relevant position
  • Familiarity with LEAP legal software, MS Office Suite;
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal in English
  • Pleasant personality, positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • Polite and professional telephone manner;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines;
  • Accurate data entry and typing skills.
