What does the job look like?

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality HR services to client groups. This includes partnering to support improved performance, talent management, organisational health, engagement, attraction and retention, employee development, remuneration, and benefits, organisational design, change, diversity, HR policies, standards and procedures and coaching. Key areas:

  • Partner with client groups to build and implement people solutions in line with business strategy and needs
  • Facilitate the annual performance and development planning cycle for client groups, coaching people leaders to improve the quality of performance and development conversations and outcomes. Provide tailored support to people leaders in respect to development planning, with a particular focus on key talent
  • Drive talent management activities for client groups ensuring appropriate plans are in place for succession, retention, talent and career development, coaching and supporting managers
  • Facilitate workforce planning activities for client groups including restructures, productivity optimisation, and future planning
  • Support employee engagement activities including recognition programs, pulse checks, benefit programs
  • Support delivery of programs designed to maintain and enhance BevChain high-performance culture

Are you the one?

The role will also work with the broader HR team to drive continuous improvement, striving to identify ways to maintain and enhance a high-performance work environment where our employees can perform at their best. You can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources or related business discipline
  • HR generalist experience including workforce demand planning; industrial & employee relations; compensation; learning & development; coaching and mentoring; performance management; talent management; organisational design; change management
  • Demonstrated business partnering experience at a senior level ideally within the logistics or heavy industry
  • Demonstrated experience in driving and delivering programs and initiatives which have contributed to improved outcomes in terms of people, business unit performance and culture
  • Ability to use operational, financial, and people data to identify trends, potential impacts and make recommendations
