About Three Mills Bakery

Our story began in the tiny basement of an ambitious project during the winter of 2013. Three Mills Bakery was born out of a vision to work with three unique grain suppliers in a continued quest to produce world class sourdough and pastry products. Today, with a bigger team of incredible people, we feel we've stayed true to our quest to produce the best hand-formed sourdough and artisan pastries. As an emerging food business, we choose to focus on improving our short game to ensure we have a place in the future. There are no lofty goals, mission statements and spreadsheets, we simply put our head down and focused on great products and our clients.

About The Position

We are after pastry chefs to become a part of an ever expanding business! With plans to push past the limits and grow exponentially we are looking for new team members to add to the kitchen team. We are looking for experienced pastry chefs as well as apprentices who want to get into the industry. We have a fostering and nurturing environment and can teach anyone who has the right attitude how to make our fantastic product. We are constantly training and developing our staff and giving them the skills they need to create and invent.

Position Breakdown

  • Pastry Chef / Apprentice
  • $40,000 - $65,000 (Apprentice to Qualified)
  • Immediate start
  • Majura
  • Free coffee, staff meals, sourdoughs & pastries
  • Multi venue opportunities

Position Requirements

  • Experience in baking sourdough & pastries
  • Willingness to learn and be open to new techniques
  • One weekend day
  • Drivers Licence
  • Desire to expand on your skill set
  • Reference checks x 2
