Senior Security Consultant - GRC

Work across a diverse environment with huge growth plans and large scale projects on the horizon.

With a flexible-working and supportive environment, you’ll work across multiple teams and senior stakeholders to communicate and identify a range of security risks to increase the organisations security posture.

What does a day in the life look like?

As a Security GRC Consultant, you’ll be tasked with but not limited to:

  • Ensure implemented Security Governance is in line with business expectations and overall enterprise risk appetite
  • Review and Define methodologies to identify key information assets and subsequent risks;
  • Act as a key trusted Security Governance and Assurance Liaison/Facilitator for Key Stakeholders, Vendors and Suppliers;
  • Maintain IT Security Risk Registers to continuously track and drive mitigation and resolution efforts;
  • Provide guidance delivering improvements of security controls’ effectiveness and coverage by assessing and applying security standards s
  • Strong knowledge and experience across range of security standards and frameworks (e.g. APRA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001)

Who are you?

As well as previous experience as a Senior Security Consultant, you’ll also bring:

  • A strong background in consulting across a wide range of projects and stakeholders, communicating and mitigating potential security risks
  • Propose, develop, implement and deliver Information Security Assessment Frameworks (ISAF) to align IT with ISO, PCI-DSS, NIST, ASD and other regulatory requirements
  • In-depth understanding of risk management
  • General understanding of other IT Security controls including SIEM, endpoint software, FWs, IPS,WAF, UBA, Malware or GRC products
  • Able to work independently and negotiate and influence the adherence to security controls and requirements
