Job Description: A position exists on our client’s large scale farming and cattle property for a suitably experienced or qualified Mechanic and general property maintenance hand. Based between the communities of Walgett and Bourke in northern New South Wales, this full time position will be located on farm with previous experience being essential. Duties will include mechanical servicing, repairs and diagnostics of farming equipment such as headers, tractors and trucks in addition to general property maintenance such as fencing, welding and water point maintenance for stock. A truck licence will be viewed favorably. It is not necessary to have formal qualifications, experience in all of the above will be considered. Either single or family accommodation on farm is available. Schools are not in close proximity to this property. Applicants should present with a current resume, contactable references and driver’s licence.
