About The Client

We are working with a successful company in the heart of Gundagai to find them a quality CDP to bolster their team. The client is a longstanding company who has been servicing the local community for a long time now and they are wanting a chef to step in and take over the creative control and design of the menu. The client is offering accommodation to live on site and they want someone who aligns with their values and future ideas. They are well loved in the local area and anyone who lives near can tell you nothing but good things about them.

About The Role

We are looking for a hands on CDP or Sous. You must have the skills required to manage your own section and manage the kitchen when the head chef isn't it and be able to handle large pax as well. Temporary accommodation can be provided for a relocation. This is a 5 day a week position in a beautiful town with a company that has many more venues throughout the east coast. You will be expected to have knowledge in pans, fryers, grill, larder and any other sections required.

If any additional training is required the head chef can teach new skills including rostering, financials, ordering and other sous chef responsibilities.
