Progressive Yarra Valley wine company is looking for a talented Sous to join their fun and energetic restaurant team!

THE VENUE:

Is not your average cellar door but rather a quality food experience where wine and creative menu design go hand in hand to create an amazing dining experience. The brand has recently been purchased by a larger corporation so there is serious career progression opportunities available! The venue is known for being a seriously fun place to work and the company, for looking out for its employees above all else.

THE ROLE:

You will work with a team of hospitality professionals creating events and menus that you can truly be proud of! You must be available to work weekends but will work a 38 hour week - on the rare occasion this isn't possible there is a time in lieu agreement in place.

YOU:

* Leadership and the ability to train and develop
* Relevant formal qualifications
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Able to take direction and follow leadership
* A good understanding of kitchen operations and systems
* Great focus and well organised
* The ability to implement and adhere to policy and procedures

* Above all, a passion for the industry and personal development
