Disability Support Worker 

Support staff: required for a child

Shifts: Security of on-going rostered shifts

We specialise in providing support to children with complex medical care needs/palliative care & adults who have a disability. We are recognised in the industry for our high-quality service delivery to our clients and seek applicants who are enthusiastic, reliable with good work ethics, committed and passionate to provide the best quality support and care.

The position is to provide support to the client within their family home. It may involve respite, personal care, in home care, or community access to a child who has medical/health issues.

Ideal previous experience would include but not limited to:

• Disability support worker
• Disability care worker
• Personal care worker
• Child related industry
• Child care assistance
• Health field workers
• Student nurse/paramedics
• Students in the Health care industry
• Community support worker

Mandatory:

• First Aid/CPR (HLTAID011) or prepared to obtain upon employment.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Working with Children’s Check (employment purposes) or prepared to obtain upon employment.

Desired but not mandatory: Cert III or Cert IV in Disability, Home and Community Care, Certificate III or IV in Disability, Home and Community Care, or Child related industry or equivalent.

Rostered on-going shifts:

Monday - Friday times and days to be confirmed.
