Sterling Tech Pty Ltd is specialist IT Maintenance Services provider for data centre infrastructure. We focus servers and storage, plus networking and power infrastructure to support them. Our business is currently seeking the services of an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker. Based at our Freshwater NSW warehouse, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of hardware both in house and at the customer’s premises. Your primary tasks will include:

- Repair and installation of electronic hardware onsite and at client premises; including Servers, Storage, Power Networking Devices and UPSs.
- Repair and replacement of electronic circuit boards and wiring of worn out or defective equipment
- Testing of equipment and other hardware to diagnose faults;

- Ability to reassemble, test and adjust (as required) repaired equipment;

- Advising customers of correct use and safe of equipment and repairs done to prevent further faults and disruptions;

- Must have sound understanding of electrical, electronic, commissioning and machine maintenance principles.

Qualifications and experience:

Applicants must possess either a Certificate III which includes two years on the job training or a Certificate IV in a related discipline. Three years full time experience is acceptable in lieu of a formal qualification.

All applicants must otherwise have two years two years full time relevant experience.
