Temporary contract with potential to lead to permanency | Contact 4-6 months | Remedial Projects in ACT


Your new company
Hays Construction is currently working with a nationally-recognised construction company, who have been operating for over 100 years and have recently started an office in Canberra. This family-owned business delivers design, construction and remedial projects across the eastern states of Australia. They have earned a reputation for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions in a variety of sectors including hospitality, health and ageing, education, aged-care, commercial, insurance and remedial. This company is known for high-quality workmanship and excellent customer relations. Their attention to detail sets them apart from other companies and is why they win repeat work from clients.

They have a handful of remedial insurance projects ranging in value from $1m - $6m across Canberra and are looking for 3x exceptional Foreman to oversee and deliver the works over the next 4-6 months.

Your new role
As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing one or several jobs at any one time. You will:

  • Supervise and coordinate contractors on site;
  • Work closely with the Project Manager;
  • Manage and deliver program on time;
  • Ensure all WHS requirements are being upheld;
  • Organise the procurement and delivery of materials; and
  • Communication with all relevant stakeholders.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience supervising construction projects,
  • A trade background is preferred;
  • Well presented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability with Microsoft Excel, Word and Project.
