About the Role

We are searching for a Qualified Butcher  to join this established Fresh Food Retailer. You will be an expert in all area's of meat preparation, de-boning, and delivering exceptional products for our customers. In this role you will be confident in performing quality inspections, taking accountability for the presentation of the meat as well as customer service. 

Please note, I can look at someone at any level of experience however the salary mentioned is for an established, qualified and long term butcher there for salary may vary based on your experience. 

Skill and Experience

• You will have industry qualifications
• Ideally Food Handlers certificate
• Longevity in your past roles
• Exceptional skills in deboning, tying, grinding and tenderising meat
• Excellent customer service experience
• Attention to detail and accurate with weighing and numbers
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in the safety and use of equipment
• Understanding how to maintain and sharpen blades
• You will take a lot of pride and passion in your career
• Understanding of quality control checks
