About The Position

Wollongong City Council are seeking a highly motivated Civil Assets Information Officer to assist with the management of Council's civil assets.

This dynamic position responds by creating, updating and reviewing of assets information in Corporate Asset Management Information System. This position will be conducting inspections of community assets transport assets (such as roads, bridges, footpaths) and stormwater assets (such as pits, pipes, headwall etc) .

You will have good attention to detail and have the capability to use information systems. You will also have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Tertiary qualification relevant to the role.
• C class drivers licence including P drivers.
• Experience in interpreting civil construction plans.
• Intermittent in the use of Microsoft Office specifically in Outlook and Excel.
