This well-respected, community-based organisation is undertaking extensive organisational change following a major transformation across the sector. As they build and align their new People Strategy in 2021, they are seeking two Policy Writers to join the team and support the transformational journey. 

This is a dispersed and complex organisation and, as their operating model evolves, you will be auditing, overhauling and executing the delivery of their new company policies.

Reporting into the Manager of Shared Services, some of your key responsibilities will include;

  • Providing advice that aligns with best practice to develop meaningful policies.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, to influence needs of company policies. 
  • Establish consultative work groups and coach these groups to enable effective consultation and feedback for policy and procedure drafts.
  • Seeking appropriate approvals for policies to be implemented.
  • Reviewing existing policies and ensuring communication is clear, concise and relevant. 

To be successful for this role we ask you to have;

  • Previous experience drafting company policies and procedures, as part of a similar project-based role or within a generalist capacity. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner closely at all levels to understand company requirements.
