About the Role

As part of the Digital and Technology Strategy and Roadmap for CPA, a review of the main enterprise systems was undertaken in late 2019. The Strategy recommended replacing the current CRM and Finance systems and proving an enhanced Business Intelligence platform. The Member Management & Finance (MMF) Program has selected Microsoft Dynamics 365 as the preferred platform for the rollout of the ERP and finance modules.

The MMF Integration Business Analyst will deliver process mapping and business analysis capabilities on the MMF project on all things integration.

This role will be tasked with producing and managing user stories and validating their correct interpretation and delivery. The role will be critical in managing stakeholder expectations, managing risks and liaising closely and consistently with stakeholders at all levels to deliver the most optimal solution for the Finance team.

Duties in this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Translate functional, business and system requirements into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Validate and manage the Scrum backlog.
  • Act as an intermediary and promote collaboration between the business and technology teams.
  • Liaise closely and consistently with all key stakeholders, including through facilitation of workshops.
  • Validate solution design and articulate concerns, identifying solutions where design does not meet requirements. 
  • Understand and promote visibility of the over-arching interdependencies and impacts between various Microsoft modules and other MMF in-scope applications.
  • Define future state process mapping for the Finance team.
  • Produce process diagrams using a variety of UML tools.
  • Scrutinise proposed processes for end to end linkages, gaps and resourcing implications.
  • Assist the Change Team in producing business impact assessment; help define the journey moving to future state processes.
  • Identify and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies, and assist in their management.
  • Analyze problems and work towards their resolution, factoring needs of all impacted parties, including technical limitations.

Your previous experience will include:

  • Tertiary level qualification in information technology (IT) and/or finance/accounting.
  • Prior hands-on experience working on a CRM transformation programme with emphasis on API integration
  • CRM / Ecommerce (payment platforms) design and delivery, highly regarded, preferably MS Dynamics 365.
  • Technical appreciation of API tools with Mulesoft and Azure Functions preferred.
