Interested in an opportunity to move fast and make a big impact? The Amazon Australia Retail team is looking for a talented marketer to lead customer engagement initiatives. The marketing manager will champion programs from ideation and planning to execution including strategies for our content via experimentation and A/B testing via weblabs. If you are organized, analytical, detailed oriented, and can think big, this is a great role for you. This is high-impact role and the marketer will have opportunities to regularly present the program plan, results, and learning to leadership teams. As a part of Amazon's marketing teams, you will learn best practices in marketing, data analysis, marketing feature development, and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities Include:
· Build customer engagement initiatives for some of our top categories.
· Work with the head Amazon Launchpad to drive awareness of the program in Australia.
· Create strategies to optimize our content via A/B testing, execute, and report out results.
· Optimise our Homepage and Storefronts to reduce abandonment rate and increase engagement, working with tech teams to deploy automated solutions.
· Analyze performance of our content, always seeking ways to improve.


· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience
· 8+ years online marketing or consulting experience
· Strong analytical skills: understand and use web metrics to gauge trends and evaluate content in an unbiased fashion.
· Experience with content testing.
· Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
· Proficient with a varied set of software and editing tools (including HTML, XML, basic to intermediate Excel, and image editing software)
· Ability to use hard data and metrics to measure the performance of online efforts, determine improvements and innovations, and to support project requests from partner teams


· SQL knowledge
· Direct marketing experience in retail
· Mobile marketing experience
· Understanding of both online and offline marketing strategy development and data-driven channel execution
· Proven experience managing large amounts of data, including customer segments and online campaign metrics
· Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skill
