Ultradata Australia is currently seeking a Senior Azure Systems Administrator with demonstrated experience in maintenance and systems administration of cloud solutions.

This role provides technical support of infrastructure and environments for internal and external clients that meet the requirements of the service level agreements relating to these services. 

This new role is based at our head office in East Malvern, Melbourne and is a member of our Technical Services team. 

About the role 

As our cloud based Senior Systems Administrator (Azure), you will be responsible for:

• System Management - management of cloud based installations and associated databases. Primary technical resource between Ultradata and supplier for all support related issues for cloud based services. Implement and support client infrastructure or hosted services where contracted. Maintain and administer system configurations, backups, restores, data replication including file systems, user and security requirements. Ensure performance levels are maintained to their optimum to ensure hosted e-business services at Datacentre are maintained and comply with service levels.
• Call Management - Manage allocated calls. Resolve or escalate client support calls in accordance with timeframes specified in Client Maintenance Contracts. Assist in after hours support.
• Knowledge Sharing - Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and across teams. Identify risks and areas for improvement.
• Reporting and Administration - Using appropriate tools to provide monthly reports to management. Develop and maintain current standard build guides for infrastructure and environments.
• Infrastructure Availability- for cloud based platforms. Ensure data replication and disaster recovery capabilities are tested and are documented in Business Continuity Plan.

The Role Requirements 

The successful applicant will have the following:

• Experience and administration skills to manage cloud platforms and infrastructure management. 
• Experience with major cloud providers, cloud security and Office 365.
• Experience working with both project and business as usual related environments.
• Exposure to quality related practices and methodologies in administration and software implementation. 
• Experience working with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Experience creating technical procedure documentation.
• Exposure to PowerShell and JSON templating.
