The Role

The purpose of the Coach is to lead a team of sales and service professionals in pursuit of delivering unbelievable customer experiences; through matching customer needs to products and services that suit their situation. This unique position is designed to support and inspire a dynamic team of consultants with the everyday functions of their role, building capability & providing a high level of coaching and development to lead the Perth business through this exciting period of change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team to focus on the achievement of agreed business and local marketing plan objectives, focused on growth, sales, revenue, customer satisfaction and credit quality.
  • Matching customer needs to Banking and Insurance products in order to achieve a balance of customer satisfaction, sales and referral targets.
  • Engaging in proactive business development activities to drive new business and retention.
  • Active community involvement to represent the Suncorp brand at community events.
  • Facilitation, education and support of customers in the use of self service and digital banking opportunities including online banking and smart ATMs.
  • Managing the operational facets of the store (including local marketing, people management, complaints resolution).
  • Manage the team to meet risk and compliance objectives within corporate policies and procedures, as well as complying with industry code of practice and legislative requirements.
  • Coaching, training and development of store team members.
  • Contribute towards a highly engaged and motivated team culture through everyday actions and leadership.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary Qualifications in business, commercial or finance are desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience in a financial services position or similar.
