CLEANER - PART TIME - AFTERNOON SHIFT (Max Term)

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at the Southbank Education and Training Precinct on a Maximum Term Contract.

Providing Facility Maintenance services to the TAFE Queensland, Brisbane; the position is responsible for providing a range of cleaning services to the TAFE; maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the campus.

You will be responsible for maintaining a professionally presented and safe environment for our staff and customers.

The successful candidate for this role will have:

• Certificate III in Asset Maintenance - Cleaning Services (desirable)
• Training in the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
• Experience working in a professional cleaning capacity preferred
• Experience using commercial or industrial cleaning products and equipment preferred
• Strong customer service focus – prioritising the needs of customers and acts with customers in mind
• Ability to communicate clearly, openly and effectively with fellow workers, supervisors and all stakeholders
• Ability to comprehend and understand written and verbal communication and able to understand and follow policies, procedures and instructions Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually by developing good working relationships with team members and enjoys the company of others Demonstrated safe manual handling and work practices, maintaining a safe work environment for self and others

This great inner city location provides suitable public transport options, with both train stations and bus stations in close walking proximity.

This is a Part Time – Max Term position - required until 11th June 2021.

Hours are - Thursday & Friday - 16:00 - 00:00 (8 hours per shift)
